After the PM’s briefing yesterday, the AGA would like to reiterate that the ASCB’s stance remains the same and ALL Army Sport is suspended until at least the end of Jun 2020.
England Golf have released a statement advising that Golf Clubs can reopen on Wed 13 May 20 with members being able to play alone or with one other socially distanced person. This does not affect how the AGA will operate going forward and we continue to follow ASCB and Government directives. No AGA events will take place until at least 30 June 2020.
We are seeking specific direction on the Army Matchplay & Inter Corps Championships due to be held at Saunton GC in early Jul 2020 and the outcome will be promulgated as soon as possible.
