In line with the UK Government’s latest COVID recovery programme, England Golf have released their pathway for a return to golf which looks set to commence on 29 Mar, this roadmap explains the full pathway to Jun 21. AGA members are to be aware that regardless of the NGB return programme, it is Army HQ and the ASCB who will determine when a return to sport for Army personnel in recognised and programmed Army sport fixtures can re-commence. Until the ban on overnight accommodation is lifted, which is not anticipated until Jun 21, only single day events will be authorised by the ASCB. Once Army HQ have granted a re-commencement of Army sport the authorisation process for each event remains extant as was the case in the autumn.
