We’ve had another few incredible days at the AGA Strokeplay Championship, held from 8-10 Jul at the beautiful Belton Park Golf Club! Despite the bad weather on day one, which was still better than forecasted, the skies cleared up, and day two was much better, allowing for some exceptional golf to be played. Our golfers pushed through fatigue, having played five rounds of 18 holes, including a practice round on Monday.
A heartfelt thank you to all our amazing golfers for their participation and outstanding performances. A massive shoutout to our hardworking officials, whose efforts behind the scenes ensured everything ran smoothly.
We also extend our gratitude to the golf club staff for their warm welcome and exceptional care, making everyone feel at home. To the club members, thank you for graciously allowing us to take over your course for the three days.
Our sponsors played a vital role in the success of this championship. A huge thank you to Army Sport, Thales (our headline sponsor), Communications Specialist Ltd, and HECKLER and KOCH for providing us with the new officials’ gear.
