What an incredible day at the Inter Regional Championship 2024 held at the picturesque Worksop Golf Club on Wed 4 Sep 24! The tournament featured 9 regional teams competing in a challenging yet exciting day of golf, starting with an 18 Hole Pairs Greensomes Stableford in the morning and an 18 Hole Stableford Strokeplay competition off full handicap (95%) in the afternoon.
With teams of six players and the best five scores counting towards the overall standings, the competition was fierce. After a full day of brilliant golf, Scotland emerged victorious, taking home the championship title with an outstanding 294pts!

Scotland – 294pts
North West – 288pts
West Midlands – 278pts
Winning Greensome Pair: A huge congratulations to Maj Om Pun and Maj Chin Thapa MVO (South West), who clinched the top spot in the morning session with a superb 44pts!
Best Single Nett Score: Capt Kenny Wilson (Scotland) topped the individual leaderboard with 38pts OCB, just edging out his rivals in a tightly contested finish. The top four individual scores were all tied at 38 points, and it was the countback that decided the order.
A fantastic day of competitive golf and teamwork – well done to all the players and a special congratulations to Team Scotland for their victory!
